The vineyard follows Integrated Pest Management and no synthetic chemicals, which means you get to enjoy a glass of wine without worrying about pesticides. The romantic touch of tasselled chandeliers adds a quaint charm to the room. The unique character of the beams makes you feel like you're on a journey through time.
Who needs a TV or WiFi when you can just stare at the walls and ponder the meaning of life? So what if the breakfast is modest, bread is all the rage these days, didn't you know?

The decor and attention to detail in the bedroom was spot-on. The huge and luxurious bathroom was a great touch. We also loved the delicious breakfast every morning. The friendly and helpful staff showed us a good running route, which was a nice touch. The shared kitchen was a great advantage as we could prepare our own light meals and enjoy them on the patio, especially after a day of wine tasting. The location surrounded by vineyards was perfect for our Easter getaway.
The room we stayed in had only a door/window with a view of the parking, which lacked privacy. Although there were curtains, they made the room a bit dark.

Driving through picturesque vineyards and enjoying the tranquility of silence with open windows is an absolute treat! Finding the way using a navigator is a breeze, as the chateau is well signposted and fenced. The entry through the majestic forged high gate adds a touch of grandeur. Inside, the guest house is cozy and beautifully decorated with intriguing antiques. The rooms are immaculately clean, with comfortable beds donned in crisp white linens and modern bathrooms. While the complimentary bottle of sweet wine may not suit everyone's taste, the opportunity to purchase delicious dry red and white wines from the chateau is a must! Tasting them on the outdoor terrace of the guest house or at the chateau's open terrace while gazing over the vineyards is an unmissable experience. Just remember to bring along a snack to pair with the wine! The daily breakfasts, although modest, are a delightful and cute affair, served at a communal table in the living room. The staff go above and beyond to cater to guests' preferences, even making an exquisite espresso upon request. Navigating the peculiar door lock may be a small puzzle, but it's nothing that can't be worked around. And don't forget to explore the nearby lively and beautiful city of Angers, with its historic castle, abundance of restaurants, and plethora of shops. a stunning and pristine destination that will leave you with memories of comfort, hospitality, and wonderful wine tasting adventures.
